If you are interested in Photo art than Le maison européenne de la Photographie is the place to be. They have notable shows and great retrospectives.

Until Aug. 2009 there is a interesting exhibition of Henri Cartier-Bresson.  They do expose 320 works of the own collection. It has been a long work with a nice result.

The title of this exhibition is surprising, but also the object .

The Musée d’Orsay does show the artistic influence of Rodin on Paris sculpture between 1905 – 1914.

They also have an interesting museumcafé and shop on the site.

The world of Andy Warhol

Until July 13th ,Le Grand Palais shows big portrets of celebrities, jetset people, actors and musicians made by Warhol or his Factory between 1962 and 1987.

It’s a rather repetitive exhibition, but it’s meant to be because the principle of repetition was a central preoccupation of Warhol’s work.

Centre Pompidou shows us with 100 works de artistic evolution of one of the most important modern artists of the 20 th century.

This exhibition is a coproductions with the Guggenheim in New York an the Städtische Galerie in Lenbachhaus of Munich. 

After your visit, you can go upstairs and have a drink or snack at the “George”, a futuristic restaurant on the rooftop of Centre Pompidou. If you want to have dinner , make a reservation.

It’s nice to visit the museum in the evening. You can buy tickets until 20 h, and make a visit until 23 h.
