If you love to eat chicken, nobody can better make it than this table of Cameroun.

Doudou is the female chef and is a great cook.

When Gilles Choukroun started at Mini Palais we had great meals. Some months later we invited some friends : half of the platters where great, half of them where so-so.

Now he started up a new restaurant MBC (Mint-Basilicum-Coriander). It is said that his meals are great when he’s in the restaurant. Otherwise it’s as before. He’s a kind of adventurer and it’s always nice to try some of his new creations, so next time I will try to make a reservation. The interior seems rather daring modern chic. The service is very friendly.

In an old art galery Dries Van Noten did open his first shop totally dedicated to male fashion.

The Belgian fashion designer did started 20 years ago in Paris. He makes nicely cut fashion items, mixing a delicate and daring feeling.

With a women chef trained at the best cuisines in Paris, a husband from Hong Kong who is in charge of the drinks (mostly teas, but you also can get wine by the glass) it has to be a interesting place.

The food, a mix French-Chinese is of a high quality. Unfortunately it seems to take a lot of time in between two courses. We thought it was a good idea to try this rookie.

We did try to make a resevation but it was fully booked which is not a surprise when you only have 20 places. Hopefully next time we can book a table.
