It’s not a secret that Ernest Hemingway loved Paris. He came to live in Paris in the rouring 20′s and wrote some novels there. His early work lik 3 Stories and 10 PoemsIn our Time – The torrents of Spring and his famous The Sun always Rises. He met other famous artists like James Joyce, Ezra Pound, Miro, Picasso,… and is said to be a member of the “Lost Generation”.

One of his favourite place to have some drinks was Les Deux Magots . He was frequently seen at Shakespeare and Company , Sylvia Beach encouraged him a lot and introdused him to other artists.

He did love to stroll around in the Luxembourg Museum and also the Luxembourg Gardens.

Le petit endroit in the Marais is an alternative concept store ,a boutique-gallery owned by Sylvie Grumbach. She mixes different genres with designer Christian Ghion.

Every five or six weeks a fashion designer, a photographer, an artist transforms the whole place and take over.
