All of young and ultra-hip Paris makes this yearly alternative music and arts festival at the Parc André Citroën in the 15th arrondissement a must-do on the calendar on 12 – 13 July.

On Saturdays and Sundays in June and July, this annual jazz festival comes to the lovely Parc Floral de Paris, the Bois de Vicennes’s 70-acre park and flower garden.
Entry to the Parc Floral is €5, but the concerts are all free.

Contemporary Japanese restaurant with wild wall murals. It’s a mix of Japanese manga-inspired figures and French Baroque motifs.
The brainchild of the artist and fashion designer Shinsuke Kawahara, this new minimalist-cool restaurant has generated a cult following for its clever French-Japanese hybrid cuisine.

From 7 to 26 July , the windows of les Galeries Lafayette will be decorated by 8 artistic places in Paris.
With “Paris & Création” le Centre Pompidou, le CentQuatre, le Jeu de Paume, Les Arts Décoratifs, La Maison Rouge, MK2, le Musée d’Art moderne de la Ville de Paris et le Palais de Tokyo will decorate one window as they please, they will get “carte blanche”
Every place has choosen an artist for this idea.La Maison rouge gave it to Fabien Verschaere with echo to the exposition Vraoum !, les Arts Décoratifs wanted somethig dedicated to Madeleine Vionnet and gave it Andrée Putman, le Palais de Tokyo invited Vincent Ganivet and le Jeu de Paume did realise an homage to photographer Martin Parr and his work “Luxury.
