Relax in a zen-like environment down in the caves, after a long walk through Saint-Germain. Hammam, sauna and massage by apointment. The massage with coconut is a winner of this place. You can also relax with a tea and a little sweet pastry.

From Fodor’s travel blog :

Owner Pierre Jancou painstakingly restored the Art Nouveau tiles of a shop that once sold exotic birds to create Paris’s most beautiful new bistro a vins. Dishes typical of the chalkboard menu here include foie gras with artichoke salad, and grilled hen wit baby organic vegetables. Pierre Jancou is alive and well, back in Paris, militant passion intact, doing what he does best: Offering the very best products, prepared “sans chi chi,” (his words), and natural wines.

From their site : Everyday, from 6 to 8pm, enjoy a glass of our wine of the day for only 5€! We work very hard to make our wine bar the most exciting place in Paris for anyone who loves wine.

Every day, we offer our clients a chance to try over 40 wines by the glass and over 350 bottles- mostly French wines- of course!  But the wines we offer by the glass are not just any wines, we offer a selection of some of the best wines in the world – and certainly all of France!
On any given day at Ô Chateau, you’re able to try a glass of Dom Pérignon, Krug, Château Pétrus, Château Margaux, Château d’Yquem and many others.
We offer 3 different sizes of glasses and a broad selection of wines to match every budget and every tasting dream. At O Chateau, there is no need to break the bank to have a taste of the best and most legendary wines in the world.

Not only do we offer wines by the glass, but you can sample from various “flights” that we’ve developed to give you the perfect tour of French wines.

We have created a place that we felt was missing in Paris- a great atmosphere- good music, tasty food, great wines, comfy seats and a very friendly, multilingual staff- all here for you to enjoy your experience!
